Campaign Update

The Thibodeau for Governor campaign is off to an amazing start -- and we're putting a lot of miles on!

Since he kicked off his campaign for governor, Mike has traveled from Presque Isle to Sanford, and lots of points in between. Here are some highlights:

  • Mike attended the Maine Snowmobile Association's annual Snowmobile Show. He had a great time meeting with fellow snowmobilers, and especially enjoyed the exhibits of snowmobiles from the past. Mike's family still puts their 1969 Skidoo to good use!

  • The Kennebec County Republican Party's Bean Supper in Augusta was a huge success. There were so many hard-working activists and candidates there, and you could definitely tell that this party is fired up and ready to elect Republicans in 2018.

  • Mike travelled to The County to meet with business owners about the things that need to be done to move Maine's economy forward. He did interviews with WAGM, WHOU, and had a great discussion with Channel X Radio''s Dennis Curley as well. Aroostook County is a beautiful place, and it was great to see so much support for the campaign up there!

  • Mike met with so many great people in the Sanford-Springvale area. Former Maine Senate Majority Leader Jon Courtney spent the day with Mike, meeting with the local Chamber of Commerce and community leaders.

  • Last weekend, Mike hit the midcoast and attended both the Pen Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce dinner and the Belfast Bay Rotary's pancake breakfast. Business leaders continue to say the same thing: we need pro-business leaders in Augusta to help grow our economy.

  • Thursday was the Christian Civic League's annual dinner. Mike enjoyed seeing old friends and new, and it was great to see people of faith so engaged in the public dialog.

  • On Friday, Mike attended the tax reform forum at Volk Packaging in Scarborough, hosted by Senator Susan Collins and Ivanka Trump. This was a fantastic discussion about pro-business tax reform that will help our small businesses grow jobs in Maine.

Mike continues to traverse Maine, meeting community leaders and citizens and talking about the issues most important to them. To keep the momentum going, we're going to need the resources to spread the word.

Please consider a donation in any amount to help Mike spread his positive message to grow Maine's economy. Click here to donate online >>

We'll keep you posted on the campaign, and thanks so much for your support!

Sincerely,

The Thibodeau for Governor team
